Welcome to my corner of the world
For me, 2007 is going to be a big year! Firstly I'm off to America and Canada for three weeks. I don't like to do the standard thing when travelling. I like to go off the beaten track and check out what a country really is like. When I went to Thailand I hated Phuket - but loved a small town called Pia which is in the mountains not far away from Mae Hong Son. When I went to Japan I stayed in Osaka (well, a friend lived there) but I really loved it because it was real Japan - not the kind of stuff you read in tourist books.This time, I'm off to Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. So less than three weeks to go - I'm getting excited!
