Day 16: Final Day

Today was relax day. We went to Denny's for lunch. I had a Grand Slam breakfast. I saw this on Family Guy so I had to try. It was great. Then Peter left a day earlier so he left at 3. We went to Chinatown for a little bit.

I love travelling and finding out what is in the world. I love getting off the standard tourist trails and check out local food, customs and daily life. I also love watching news. Not channel 7 news in Sydney! But real news from BBC or Al Jazeera (don't knock it until you have watched it). I also love dining out, photography (especially doing macro shots). I love winter and a hot pot of coffee. I love Portland Oregon. It’s my favourite place - no other place has affected me like Portland. I really love Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits and Gravy - not like the fast food type but the ones from Pattie's Homeplate Cafe & Fountain in St John’s in Portland. If you are in the area - then it is a MUST!!! I also love baking sweet stuff. I mean cakes, cookies.
